Evaluations, Special Events, Group Instruction via Clinic Format and Sell Preparation. If you do
not see a training area that pertains to your needs, please ask!
Goals/Levels of Training
•
Ground Work: The foundation of communication between horse and rider is the ground
work. Learn to manipulate all of the body parts of your horse from the ground prior to
advancing to the saddle. Safety first, ALWAYS! Create a balance between desensitizing and
correctly sensitizing your horse to prepare them for life.
•
Advanced Horsemanship: Refine vertical and lateral movement that will encourage the development of “collection”. Collection is the definition
of a truly balanced horse.
•
Lead Changes: Learn to obtain the correct position to execute correct diagonals and lead changes.
•
Speed Control: Gain the tools to rate your horse to the appropriate speed while maintaining
softness.
•
Obstacle Training: Regardless of whether it is a natural or manmade obstacle, obstacle training is a
very effective way to build and nurture a brave horse. Teaching your horse how to navigate tarps, bridges, drags water crossings, roping, jumps
and natural terrain will ready your horse to confidently deal with life’s unexpected encounters.
•
Cattle Work and Sorting: Introduce your horse to cattle. Learn how to move cattle to the desired destination with safety, speed and accuracy
while minimizing stress for cattle and horse.
•
Colt Starting: Advance from the ground to the saddle. Help your colt accept saddling and outside stimulus, build confidence, and prepare the
horse for a lifelong, positive partnership.
